B+E Familiarisation Training
Many drivers feel unsure when towing a trailer or caravan, whether it’s for livestock, horses, machinery, caravans, or business purposes. At Monex Academy, our B+E familiarisation course is tailored to your personal requirements, so you gain the skills and confidence you specifically need.
You can choose to train using our 2022 Land Rover Defender 90 with our box trailer, or bring your own vehicle and trailer. This flexible approach ensures you learn in the environment that matters most to you.
During the session, you’ll cover:
- Trailer or caravan attachment and safety checks
- Manoeuvring and reversing exercises
- Road driving with a trailer or caravan in practical conditions
- Tips for handling livestock, horses, caravans, or equipment safely
We offer flexible training options to suit your schedule:
- Hourly sessions
- Half-day sessions
- Full-day sessions
- Or any duration you feel you require
Following recent law changes, anyone holding a standard Category B (car) licence can now tow trailers within legal limits. While the law allows it, our training ensures you tackle towing confidently and safely, no matter the load or situation.
